Increase Efficiency with Exegy
DART for Bloomberg is a comprehensive tool for monitoring and managing use of Bloomberg terminals. It identifies Bloomberg subscriptions within your firm that go unused or are not optimally used, identifying areas for potential savings by sharing or removing licenses, or switching to more cost-effective tools.
Among the areas of Bloomberg usage monitored by DART are Bloomberg pages; Launchpad, including ticker lists; real-time data, including securities and sectors; and Excel spreadsheet use.
Included with this service is the DART Business Intelligence Portal, an analytics interface that provides baseline set reports which are customizable and several key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards that allow firms to track usage over time, top functions, usage heat maps and other reports. Firms also have the ability to design and execute their own reports.
Cost efficiency initiatives
Identify unused or underused subscriptions for reallocation or cancelation. Firms are mandated to keep costs contained year over year. With changing management and teams, costs can grow unless usage is monitored and controlled.
Determine which functions Bloomberg subscriptions are being used for within an organization: Simple functions such as quotes and news stories can be off-loaded to less expensive tools, while focusing the use of subscriptions on high-ROI functions such as analytics and trading.
